Wire check specification for USB cable

Every company will have their own suppliers, as our company doing more recently is a USB cable, so will often come into contact with the USB cable all the suppliers of raw materials, including PVC material, wire, plug and so on material material suppliers, our company will be a department (IPQC) dedicated to check all raw materials, round base electronic today to share our company's USB cable wire inspection specification.

The wire check specification of USB cable shall be carried out in strict accordance with the following procedures:

1、Appearance inspection, must put down the full of copper wire reel packaging on the stage, with one hand to take a piece of white paper standing in the distance the orientation of the copper wire 1-2 cm, another hand add copper wire bobbin week, eyeballing the appearance whether arrived at the following specification:

2  Surface lubrication, no black line, no line, no flax point, no oxidation, no beating, no scratches, no plating tin, no slant line, no hand joint, no fingerprints.

3  The line is good, uniform, no pile edge, underside (high side or two high end), no stock.

4  The tension is moderate but loose or too tight.

5   The surface of the copper wire is not sticky.

Line diameter inspection: the line size shall be strictly controlled according to the general specifications of the country and customers have special requirements. The specific inspection process is as follows:

1、First, adjust the micrometer to be zero.

2、The copper wire that will be checked is placed outside the line of the micrometer, and the force (force cannot be too heavy or too light) to wiggle the end of the micrometer.

3、When the noise of a micrometer is heard, the reading can be investigated.

4、Two or three readings should be repeated for each time (the same piece of copper wire) can't detect the same position each time.

5、The wire diameter of the copper wire of more than 0.2cm is used to check the different interface of copper wire, so as to avoid flat line.

Elongation check: the elongation rate should be strictly controlled according to the requirements of the country according to the national regulations. The specific procedures are as follows:

1 Open the extension tester switch.

2 Investigate whether its on the left side of the clip in the original location, the view of the instrument readings is zero, such as induction on the left is not in the original position, the view of the instrument readings is not zero, should immediately press the key of rehabilitation and the zero button.

3 Quietly opened the clips, will the copper wire of the end of the line inspection into the induction folder, pressure induction clamp, and then quietly will copper wire straightening and put the other end in another induction folder, pressure induction to copper wire clip, press the test button.

4 After the inductive clip breaks the copper wire and suspends the movement, the measured reading is the elongation of the copper wire detected.
